Cell Broadcasting on Nokia

CB alerts are activated by default on CB-capable Nokia smartphones sold in Greece and running an Android version newer than December 2019. It is not recommended to turn off CB alerts on your device.

 

Toggle Cell Broadcasting on/off

Step 1: Open the Settings menu

Step 2: Select “Apps & notifications”, then tap the “Emergency alerts” option.

Step 3: Find the “Extreme Alerts” and “Emergency alerts” option and turn it on/off.

Cell Broadcasting on Motorola

Step 2: Select “Messages”, then select “Options”.

Step 3: Select “settings”, then “Area messages”.

Step 4: Find the “Local messages” option and turn it on/off.
